Greenterest brings climate scientists and communications professionals together in the interest of our planet. We match climate scientists with experienced volunteers from the field of communications to amplify their messaging, media coverage and influence.
Strictly not for profit, Greenterest was founded by a small team of international climate communicators looking for meaningful ways to support climate science in our fight for a livable planet.

Our why
According to the International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and the Secretary General of the United Nations (UN), we have fewer than two years for drastic cuts in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. We must do enough and fast enough to reach that goal. The message of climate science is important in inducing and supporting action. Communications professionals are well suited to help achieve a breakthrough before we end up with a breakdown. Our volunteer communicators are ready to partner with scientists and help them disseminate messages of climate science and climate action to global audiences.
Making an Impact Across the Globe
Communications professionals will work with scientists as their go-to climate communication partner. When needed, the communications pros will help scientists with media strategies, messaging, writing, storytelling, editorial relationships, social media engagement, influencer partnerships, networking and crisis management.

In addition to pairing scientists with communicators, Greenterest invites publishers of media and social media to offer free visibility for evidence-based climate science in their respective publications and platforms. Please reach out directly to us with article, interview and speaking requests.
